Sanitary couplings are typically specified in pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, food, and cosmetic industries where ultra cleanliness is required. Sanitary couplings are internally polished to 20 RA micro-inch mirror finish. The smooth bore has no voids, dead spaces, crevices, or fillers that may trap bacteria. Easily sanitized using steam or other methods. FDA and USP certification is available as an option.
Other options are also available, such as extra fine RA micro-inch inside
polish, and outside polish to matte finish.
